About Arroyo Bakery

Located at 636 E Monmouth St, Winston-Salem, NC 27107, Arroyo Bakery operates as an asian bakery serving Winston-Salem in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Winston-Salem. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in North Carolina are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Arroyo Bakery at (336) 793-0087; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 825 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian bakery in Winston-Salem and suggests consistent service.

Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Over charge sweet bread, you call and they give you one price then charge more than quoted. They don't put prices on their bread so they can over charge.

They do not put prices in the window and when you get to the counter they surprise you with the price. They do not allow to cancel the items even if they haven’t charged you for it. Pics are deceiving not nice area of Winston. Also the cashier girl need attitude adjustment in customer service.

My husband birthday is the 12-26 so we started looking for a bakery 12/24 morn where we could buy a cake. Either the bakery were closed or told us they didn't have enough time. We ended up at here. Everybody was so nice and accommodating. The cake was perfect and delicious. They make it just the way we wanted it.

If you’re ordering a cake for pick up please beware. I placed a chocolate cake order for today sept 8, two weeks ago !! Today they call HALF AN HOUR before pick up saying they ran out chocolate bread if vanilla is okay. I said no, vanilla is the complete opposite of what the birthday person wanted and asked if I could get a refund since I had already paid and they aren’t delivering what was agreed on. When I went to go pick up the money the cashier apologized and said they ran out of chocolate bread yesterday bc they had a lot of orders. I said it’s fine don’t worry, which it was fine but why on earth wait 30 minutes before pick up to call and let me know??? That’s what got me pissed. Anyways , luckily I’m a baker but wanted to save myself from the hassle but ended up making my own chocolate cake for birthday person and turned out so much better. Very disappointed tho as this was my first time ordering a cake here and certainly the last. Picture of my cake for tax πŸ˜›

Wondered into the small yet plentiful establishment recently and was pleasantly surprised with the assortment of baked goods they had! I purchased a rather large amount of the most super cute cakes for about $5. Though they have some fairly sweet items they have a lot of lightly sweetened, buttery, savory, and various fresh bread choices. This is a must stop in. Employees were helpful and friendly. One of Forsyth County's best kept secrets, perhaps!
